Sail Ningaloo is ready to welcome you on board Shore Thing with confidence – our Guests and employees health and well-being is our highest priority and our COVID safety protocols mean that you can travel with peace of mind.
Sail Ningaloo adheres to the guidance & requirements set out by Federal and State Government and Industry bodies, as well as implementing enhanced protocols, to help keep guests and employees COVID Safe.
TRAVEL VACCINATION POLICY *Updated 29th April 2022
As the Western Australian Government has removed vaccine requirements for licensed commercial vessels from 29th April 2022, guests will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination prior to boarding the vessel.
We will continue to diligently monitor this ever-evolving landscape and will make amendments to our policy as and when required.

COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
- We have completed and implemented COVID Safety Plans and acquired the associated safety plan certificate for a ‘Food Business’ and ‘Sport & Recreation’ activities.
- All Staff have completed the mandatory AHA COVID-19 Hygiene Officer Course and undertaken COVID safety procedures training, to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleaning practices on board.
- Our vessel is over 120sq meters in area & as such we easily exceed an area of 1 person for every 4sq meters. With 3 crew and up to 8 guests we can easily get to over 10 sq m per person, with crew guiding guests to maintain adequate social distancing when required.
- All guests have private sleeping quarters.
- We have 2 main eating areas so guests can be spaced comfortably and safely to ensure adequate social distancing when required.
- The majority of the time whilst on tour we are in an open-air environment
- Any guests and crew who are unwell will not be allowed to board, please be respectful of this policy and do not travel if you are feeling unwell
We are constantly reviewing all official information provided by the Federal & State Governments and refining our procedures to ensure safe environment for our guests and crew.
